On September 12, 2024, the “Giorgio Fuà” Faculty of Economics in Ancona hosted a milestone in the CAPTION (Carbon Accounting Practices in Listed Companies: Multifaceted Analysis of Accounting for Climate Change and Environmental Disclosure Improvement) project. The project is funded under PNRR M4C2: From Research to Enterprise, with the aim of innovating environmental reporting practices and improving the quality of carbon disclosure in companies. The meeting, which took place in room T3 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., brought together researchers from the Universities of Sassari and Teramo to take stock of the project’s progress and plan the next stages of the research.
The meeting in Ancona provided an important opportunity for the research groups involved to exchange views, strengthening collaboration to address challenges related to carbon accounting and improve the transparency and quality of environmental information.
The meeting is part of a journey that aims to generate concrete results for companies, policymakers and academics, contributing to progress in managing climate change.
